Touro University’s Osteopathic Medicine Program provides medical training that encompasses the total health care of the individual and the individual’s family. This takes into account the anatomic, cultural, economic, emotional, environmental, physiological, psychological, sociological and spiritual factors involved with the patient’s medical problems. Consideration of the body as an integrated entity forms the basis for Osteopathic Medical Education. The third and fourth years of study include 52 contiguous weeks of didactic study and medical care. Rotations are one month long. There are a total of 12 rotations each year that are designed to build upon preceding rotations.

In the third year, students engage in clinical clerkships based on the rotations schedule below. These core rotations place students in various trauma centers, hospitals, and clinics across the Las Vegas area. In addition to these core rotations students are permitted two electives of their choice as well as a vacation period.
