Dear AMSA members and visitors,
Welcome to the American Medical Student Associationšs website! On behalf of AMSAšs more than 68,000 members, I want to thank you for visiting the nationšs largest independent organization of physicians-in-training. AMSA is an entirely student-governed organization with a 57-year history of developing socially responsible physicians, serving and advocating for our patients and society, and improving medical education and the nationšs health. We have representation in every one of the allopathic and osteopathic medical schools in the U.S., and dozens of premedical campuses and international medical schools.

AMSA's 58th Annual Convention is next year in Houston, TX. The Convention will be held March 12-16. This convention will be the best yet. It is the largest annual gathering of physicians-in-training with over 1500 attendees expected. We will have fantastic programming and keynote sessions!
