About US

We are the SOIMA chapter at Touro University Nevada COM.

Mission Statement

SOIMA is committed to providing Touro University Nevada (TUN) osteopathic medical students with an early exposure to the field of internal medicine and its subspecialties by engaging the members with information on training and career opportunities while gaining the fundamental understanding of osteopathic principles in relationship to disease in the practice of internal medicine.  SOIMA will establish and maintain the highest educational, moral and ethical standards in the teaching and practice of internal medicine while promoting member communication with faculty and physicians to expand member knowledge of internal medicine and volunteering for charitable events that serve both TUN and the community.
