Neurology and Psychiatry Student Interest Group
Mission Statement: The Neurology and Psychiatry Student Interest Group is committed to increasing awareness of the importance of neurology and psychiatry in all aspects of medicine. This will be accomplished by reaching out to the Touro University Nevada Community by providing events and guest lecturers incorporating neurology and psychiatry into various specialties. For those interested in a career in neurology psychiatry, the group also provides more focused resources, through networking, internet, movie screenings, group discussions and membership to the American Psychiatric Association and/or American College of Osteopathic Neurologists and Psychiatrists.
