- From science to history, the Lied Discovery Children's Museum has a little bit of everything and gives kids a hands-on approach to learning.
- Kids can try out different career paths with interactive exhibits such as the bank and grocery store, maybe even learning a little math along the way.
- There are several areas where children are able to build forts, a stage equipped with costumes where they can put on a play and even a "cockpit" where they have the opportunity to pilot a space shuttle.
- "Desert Discovery," a special area for visitors ages 5 and younger, will occupy children for hours as they discover the adult world.
- The various exhibits and experiments rotate often, and older ones are frequently replaced with new ones.
- One of the larger exhibits being featured right now is "Growing Up With The Berenstain Bears," in which kids and parents have the chance to enter the famous Tree House in Bear Country and take part in a wide range of interactive activities.
- Another featured exhibit is "Neon Unplugged: Signs from the Boneyard." With about 30 pieces, the exhibit displays some of the most famous neon signs in Vegas history.
